Suzanne O Stelling

Artist and author Suzanne Stelling values living simply and artfully with her beloved husband, house guests, and their urban menagerie as she explores what it means to love her neighbor in East Knoxville, Tennessee. Lately, her favorite topics to investigate have been Christian maturity, relational skills, and racial and class divides in her hometown and the United States. She appreciates a good brownie and a hike in the mountains, rich discussions and snuggly quilts, and the joy and beauty of her life on complex Woodbine Avenue. Although she holds two Masters degrees, she considers her most important learning to occur around a plate of warm cookies and the people of her 'hood.
