Franck Jovanovic

Franck Jovanovic is a full professor of economics and finance at TELUQ University (the distance learning university of the Université du Québec) and a research associate at the Laboratoire d'économie de l'Université d'Orléans (France). He was previously Senior lecturer (i.e., Associate Professor) in Finance at University of Leicester School of Management (U.K.).

He has 25 years of international experience as a university professor and as a consultant to organizations. His research focuses on financial economics, with more than 50 articles and book chapters, 12 books and special issues, and contributions to two leading economics textbooks, including Principles of Modern Economics with Nobel Prize winner Joseph E. Stiglitz.

He holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the Université de Paris I - Sorbonne and was awarded with two MAs in Economics from the Université de Paris I - Sorbonne, one in Finance and the other one in Economic Methodology.

He has taught and been invited by many universities, including HEC Montreal, UQAM, York University, Leicester University, Simon Fraser University, Université de Paris 1 - Sorbonne, ENS Paris-Saclay, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Université d'Orléans, Université d'Évry, Institut Universitaire D'Abidjan.

For several years, Franck has been an expert for private companies and organisations, such as the OECD, the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), Hydro-Québec, Industrielle Alliance, the Agence Française de Développement (France), CRCC – Commissaires aux comptes (Auditors) (France), the French Federation of Franchise.

Franck Jovanovic has also presented his work at numerous conferences around the world and is regularly solicited by the media on the issue of offshore finance and tax havens.
