Faria Arsh

Faria is an award-winning entrepreneur and a single mum of two girls, Faiza, 18 and Afiyah, 15. Her youngest daughter Afiyah has severe autism, ADHD, severe learning difficulties and Epilepsy. Faria has a special interest in autism, communication, and behavioural analysis. Based on her personal experience of toilet training her daughter Afiyah and her work at Pictor Academy, which is an outstanding special school, Faria has written this book for parents, carers, and professionals. Faria recently won the SHEro award at the She Inspires Awards in November 2022 for her outstanding work in helping and supporting families who have children with autism and other disabilities. Faria believes if her daughter, who has severe autism, can use the toilet independently through this method, then any child can.
