Michael Williams

Michael Lee Williams is the author of the **Sophia Evans Thriller Series**, blending espionage, terrorism, military action, and covert operations into fast-paced, character-driven thrillers.

Born in Anaheim, California, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Army after witnessing the events of September 11, 2001. His military service took him to Afghanistan, and after returning home he initially set his sights on a career with the FBI. An injury ultimately changed that path and sent him searching for a different way forward.

Writing became that path.

A lifelong storyteller with an active imagination, Michael began with short fiction before moving into full-length novels. His military experience, interest in intelligence and law enforcement, and fascination with the people behind high-stakes operations help shape the realism and atmosphere of his stories.

His novels **Heartland Strike** and **Heartland Retribution** introduce readers to CIA officer Sophia Evans, FBI Special Agent Fred Jones, and the wider team whose fight against evolving threats forms the backbone of the Sophia Evans Thriller Series.
