Tracy Conti Potash

Tracy’s love of books and the joy words brought to a child started the moment she heard her mother’s beautiful voice chattering away about all her stories as a little girl. She spoke and Tracy’s eyes widened, her ears tingled, her mouth grinned, and her body squirmed and wormed with excitement. Growing up, Tracy could be found wandering over to the book section, poking her nose in and out of the most fabulous picture books. As a high school girl, she never ever, not even once skipped her creative writing class; it was her very favorite! And as a new mom, her son’s nursery may have contained more picture books than diapers. But, it wasn’t until college that she realized that writing was a part of her - a very important part! The words she composed in an essay moved her Art History professor so much - and in that moment - she realized... Words move people, stir emotions, educate, and change lives, and she wanted to be a part of that.
