Malesha Smith

Malesha Smith, born in 1984, grew up in the small, rural town of Lexington, in the Mississippi Delta. Malesha used writing as a defense mechanism when she was struggling with self-esteem and depression. Malesha was a member of her high school theatre arts team; she wrote and performed in numerous plays and short skits at school and in her community. Between working full time as a technologist and being a mother of five young children, Malesha Smith found time to pursue her lifelong passion of writing.
