Kelly Varnado

Kelly Varnado-Knox, is native to New Orleans, Louisiana. Kelly's creative journey started at the age of 12 after taking a creative thinking assessment earning her a spot in the summer program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly University of Southwestern Louisiana). Kelly's love for God and family, and her desire to share her gifting and creative ability with the world lead her to write her very first book, Do The Bugs Know God?, followed by The Best Friends Coloring and Activity Book.

Kelly is a 2001 graduate of Ursuline Academy. In 2005, just prior to Hurricane Katrina, she graduated from Dillard University with a BS in Health Sciences. In 2010, Kelly graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Masters of Occupational Therapy; and now works as a licensed occupational therapist.
