I am, perhaps, the most boring person alive. And that is why I gravitated during my formative years to the works of Monty Python, The Blackadder, Stan Freberg, The Firesign Theatre, Mel Brooks, and George Carlin to name just a few. If your path of humor (or humour) falls within these masters, then we can be friends. It was a golden age of comedy. Silly. Yes. Stupid. Yes. But much of it was inciteful genius--a renaissance of the ridiculous. And its likes are not likely to be seen again.
