In 2022, at the age of 74, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The first I knew of it was when I started to experience extreme pain in my right leg. This was followed soon by pain in my left leg, and it turned out that the tibia bones in both legs had been fractured as a result of the cancer. As I was being taken to hospital by ambulance I began to feel a bit anxious, I had never been in hospital overnight before. As the ambulance made its way towards the hospital, Philippians 4.6 came into my mind: "Do not worry about anything, but in every situation bring your prayers and petitions to Almighty God, with thanksgiving. " I decided there and then not to be worried about this situation. I tell the story of this amazing experience in my book "Cancer with Christ, my journey through the valley of the shadow of death."

As I spent four months in hospital, I had plenty of time to read, and since I was interested in the subject of the return to earth of Jesus Christ, I read several books on prophecy, and came to the conclusion that the only way I could get to really understand this amazing subject would be to write a book about it. "Week Seventy" is the result.

Writing this book has been one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life, intriguing, fascinating, awesome, exciting, terrifying, confusing and above all humbling. What a mighty God we have. This is very much a work in progress, I have barely scratched the surface of the hidden depth of the dreams, visions, angelic visitations and awesome appearences of the Lord Jesus Himself. I invite you to join me in love and patience, with a questioning and enquiring heart as together we put aside our preconceived ideas and seek to discover the truth about this extraordinary and unprecedented event that is fast approaching. The dramatic return of Jesus, the Messiah, and the events that preceed it, are surely the most important subject for us to study, research and begin to understand, with the inspiration and counsel of the Holy Spirit.
