Maxwell Morrison MD

Maxwell Morrison, M.D. is a practicing Emergency Medicine physician in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honors from SUNY Binghamton. He studied medicine at SUNY Stony Brook, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in 2012. He was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the Medical Honor Society that same academic year.

After medical school, Dr. Morrison pursued his residency training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in association with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He graduated in 2015, and moved to Texas after graduation to begin his career. He has practiced in busy community emergency rooms ever since, and enjoys taking care of the local population in which he resides. He currently serves on the stroke committee at Medical City Lewisville, and also works on promoting the use of bedside ultrasound technology in clinical practice. He is currently certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Morrison was born and raised on Long Island, NY to loving parents, and has 5 siblings including an identical twin brother. He currently resides with his husband of 2 years just outside of Dallas, TX. He is a dog lover, and has two doodles. He and his husband recently expanded their household by welcoming 2 children into their home. In his free time, Dr. Morrison enjoys playing with his dogs, reading, playing piano, linguistics, and oenology.
