Sarah E. Amos

I vowed to write a book or two some day before I was forty years old. That didn't happen until twenty years later. Currently, I am working on my second writing adventure, my memoir. I also plan to write a children's chapter book for my grandson. Since I was in sixth grade I have been encouraged to write by my parents and my teacher, Ms. B. Although I am just now publishing my first (but not my last) book, I didn't stop writing and telling stories even as I raised my three daughters and worked full time as a English and History teacher. I have loved my job as a parent and as a teacher because I have always been able to mentor young writers. Now that my children are grown and I am retired, I am following my own writing advice - write, write and write!
