Anne got bit by the theatre bug at age two and she apparently was telling stories in her sleep from that time on. Much of her free time from then until going away to college was somehow connected to the stage, and very often with her sister and co-author, Jane. Drawn to Europe, languages and science, Anne pursued a career in teaching and editing in Paris, France. Meanwhile, she explored cities of legendary beauty like Prague, Madrid, Barcelona and Rome and enjoyed life as a dual citizen, American and French. She holds a Masters degree in Physics and obtained her Doctorate from the Sorbonne, in the History of Science. Renewable energy work brought her to southwest France, and Yoga took her further afield, to India, where she became certified in Ayurveda and Hormone Yoga therapy. Covid, with its gift of time off, brought Anne and Jane together again over their love of storytelling and the stage. From their separate continents, Anne's country home and Jane's city apartment, they agreed to laugh as much as possible and tell what they learned, in Rome. From this decision, their book The Seven Roman Rules was born.
