Jackie Matthai is a nutritionist, writer, and food enthusiast born in Houston in 1980.
Her goal is to help people follow a healthy lifestyle without giving up the taste of good food. If there's one thing Jackie has never been able to stand, it's all those diets that rob you of the satisfaction of eating your favorite meals, offering only bland and tiny meals that leave you hungry all day long.
For this reason, Jackie, in addition to studying nutrition with dedication, wanted to thoroughly understand the relationship between food and our health; in doing so, she obtained the knowledge necessary to develop food plans to solve chronic health issues. That has been a great source of pride for Jackie.
In addition, she has been teaching mindful eating classes for years in various cities, where she teaches her students how food is not an enemy that exploits our weaknesses but a key ally on our path to health.
Wanting to help as many people as possible, she started writing practical and comprehensive cookbooks whose purpose is to increase readers' awareness of their lifestyle, accompanying them toward the best version of themselves with easy and quick recipes full of taste and health.
