A fat folder of bad teenage poetry and slightly better twenties poetry collected dust for decades. In the past few years, while switching careers from strategic marketing to freelance writing, I’ve also returned to creative writing: primarily poetry but with some little footprints in short fiction and memoir.
Thematically, I’m drawn to storytelling as a building block of core beliefs and personality development, from traditional fairy tales to the archetypes and lessons embodied in family history and personal memory.
I’m also interested in the role of intentional creativity as an integral part of building a life that moves toward joy and hope, building mindfulness, vitality, and connection.
