Christopher Harvey

Christopher E. Harvey was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, but also spent two impressionable years as a child, growing up in Escondido, California. After high school, he joined the United States Army as an infantryman serving with the 25th Infantry Division (Light) in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, from 1986 to 1988. He returned home when his dad passed away and joined the United States Army Reserve serving as a chemical operations specialist in the 124th Army Reserve Command in Reno, Nevada, from 1989 to 1992. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008, and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2015. He worked in the retail grocery industry for almost 20 years before working as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America from the early- to mid-2010s. He is currently working on his dissertation on Service Failures in Retail Grocery for his Doctor of Business Administration. He is active in Rotary and several Veterans Service Organizations. Chris currently resides in Reno, Nevada, with his wife Katherine. He has three grown children.
