Jon Pels

Jon D. Pels was admitted to practice

law in 1993 and has been litigating for

almost 30 years. He is barred in state

and federal courts in Maryland, DC

and Virginia. He has litigated cases

all over the country and was named the

2007 Maryland Trial Lawyer of the

Year by the Maryland Trial Lawyers

Association for his groundbreaking

case on behalf of hundreds of

manufactured housing homeowners

which reversed the incorrect inspection

and permitting practices of counties

throughout the state.

Mr. Pels was born and raised in

Maryland and married his wife Paula

whom he met in la school. Together

they have raised five children. His

oldest daughter Kiersten co-authored

this publication.

Mr. Pels founded his firm in 1997 and

the firm focuses on litigation and has

grown to included 14 attorneys.
