AJ Duncan's interest in writing began in elementary school after winning an essay contest. Although Duncan spent most of her career in corporate management positions, having earned a degree in sociology in college, she has always been intrigued by how the American people live and work together in a society divided by traditions, values, and beliefs.
Duncan developed a passion for ending senseless gun violence after the Columbine school shooting over twenty years ago. Mix this passion with her fascination with politics and it is not hard to imagine how the plot twists in Bullet Holes found their way to the written page. Despite being a lifelong writer, Bullet Holes is AJ Duncan's first full length novel.
