Roger Stichter, CPA, DBA, MBA has been a college accounting professor for over 25 years. Before and between teaching, he was CFO of Josiah White's, a Christian non-profit childcare agency, was Corporate Controller for Caremet, Inc. d.b.a. Miller's Merry Manor, a group of 30+ long-term care facilities in Indiana, and as a CPA in public accounting providing a variety of services for clients. His life outside of education includes spending time with Jane, his wife of nearly 40 years, enjoying times with his seven children, their spouses and grandchildren, bicycling (he has biked coast-to-coast, some other bike trips, and raced bikes), fishing, and just spending time in God's creation. His interest in generosity began as a 10 year old child, was increased during college and while reading books and studying concepts taught by Larry Burkett, and from God's leading and inspiration that God's money is meant for more than just making us comfortable in this life.
