Timothy John Amdahl

Timothy Amdahl grew up in a small town in Iowa. He graduated high school and entered the military serving in both the United States Army for two years and then 4 years in the Marine Corps. He has traveled to Europe, Asia, and many other countries in between. During his tour of duty he served as a Marine Security Guard for the Commander Sixth Fleet, Admiral Martin and then Admiral Kelso. He finished his tour of duty in special forces in S.T.A. PLT. 2nd BN. 9th Marines.

After returning home he married and had a child, but the relationship didn't last, however they remain friends to this day.

He has worked as a youth counselor for four years, working with positive peer culture environments and in behavior modification programs, assisting troubled teens that were headed down the wrong path. He worked as well in a sexual predators unit with victims that became predators at the hands of those they should have been able to trust.

Tim then moved to Illinois where he married his current wife. He had custody of his daughter from his first marriage. His wife had a son from a marriage from before. Later they would adopt a set of twins. Tim was a twin himself. Tim then took on a new challenge as he entered the Department of Corrections in Illinois as a Correctional Officer. He not only became a Correctional Officer, but was proficient and respected by those he watched over. He had become a legend throughout the state, as an officer you didn't want to test. At the same time he was seen as a professional who stood strong on honor and integrity, one the inmates could trust and rely on.

Through all these years Tim has been seen as creative with writing. He has written poetry, romance, conspiracies, political, and books in the field of law enforcement. He shares his books not just as an author, but from a person that thinks outside the box.
