About the Author

Mary Mueller, author of What Do You Call an Ant? (a children’s riddle book), has written three other children’s books, What Sound Does A Butterfly Make?, How Much Gold Can An Octopus Hold? and What Did You Bring Me? A mother and grandmother, her books reflect her humor and sensitivity to the world of children. Mary is a member of Word-Weavers International.

Mary Mueller grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Mary is an avid volunteer with Brethren Disaster Ministries; she and her husband served as project leaders in Louisiana for four years following Hurricane Katrina.
