As a young mother, Kerry's love of reading to her children ignited a deep passion. The joy and wonder she observed in their eyes motivated her to share this same magic with children around the world, hence beginning her journey as a children's book author.

Kerry comes from a long line of Grandma Batchies, to which she pays tribute to the many wonderful women who have impacted her families lives from generation to generation.

Her belief is that if she can bring even one smile to one young person's face and make their day a little brighter, it will have been well worth the effort, and it certainly has.

In 2019, her daughter, Sarah, joined the endeavor, becoming an essential part of the business. Together, they meticulously and continually revise and enhance their entire collection of children’s books, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Their recent accomplishments include the launch of five children’s books: "Hopper Days," "Cheese Please," "The Giant Bird Bath Party," and "Angel Bear." These titles are exciting additions to the Grandma Batchie Book Collection, designed to provide children with safe, engaging reading material. They aspire to make Grandma Batchie's books a household name in children's literature.

As a side note - Their entire line of children's books is soon to be included in the silent auction of a Wounded Veteran Event, in Greensboro, GA.

They have also self-published a six-book collection of heartfelt poetry that offers profound insights, making it an excellent choice for book clubs looking to enrich their discussions. Their latest poetry release is titled *After Hours Reflections.*

Finally, In their gripping *Kelly Thomas* series, set against the backdrop of the pandemic, the authors delve into the intense world of adult suspense. This captivating series immerses readers in a whirlwind of action and raw survival as Kelly confronts ruthless criminals while battling her inner demons. Each twist and turn draws readers deeper into Kelly's world, where every decision can mean the difference between life and death.
