Austin de Bourg

Dr. Austin de Bourg is an accomplished Minister of Jesus Christ and Christian Author. His revelatory writings flow out of his intimate relationship with the Trinity who have been his personal teacher and mentor. His books, therefore, take Christianity to a dimension where modern literature on the topic rarely ventures, answering long-troubling questions and dealing frankly with the many misconceptions of Christianity.

In 1980, he pioneered the Full Gospel Independent, Evangelical Church movement in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago and founded and pastored the Trinidad Christian Center, which has grown over the years into a multi-campus ministry. With the first-of-its-kind modern sanctuary, seating 2500, it is one of the larger evangelical churches in the Caribbean region.

Dr. de Bourg’s ministry, which spans over 45 years, extends internationally. He has been instrumental in establishing a multi-level, multi-faceted modern church in India and has equipped, trained and empowered many ministers in India, Africa, Canada, USA, as well as other Caribbean islands and has mentored some in Ukraine and Austria. In addition, he has established humanitarian projects in impoverished countries and founded the Austin de Bourg Foundation for Human Advancement. He also founded Apostolic Renewal Ministries, aimed at rekindling the apostolic spirit and ministry in the Church.

By every biblical definition, his life and ministry demonstrate the nature and characteristics of true apostolic ministry. A Professor of Christian Theology, Austin has earned Doctorates in both Theology and Humanities. Considered a true "father in the faith,” he has been conferred with four Honorary Doctorates in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Body of Christ. A man of apostolic vision and authority, his mandate is to restore lost Biblical Truths and his heartfelt desire is for others to experience that level of intimacy with the Trinity which he has come to enjoy. He continues to affect lives and bring change wherever the Lord sends Him as he labors to see this present-day Church restored to its former Apostolic authority.
