I was born in 1988, when we still recorded things on VHS and the Walkman was the height of portable technology. Bologna is the city where I grew up, changed direction (and skin) more than once, but always kept one constant: writing. Not just a habit but a real need: telling stories, giving voice to characters, and sometimes bending reality to fit imagination.

So, after earning a degree in Modern Literature and a Master’s in Italian Linguistics, I worked as a journalist and web copywriter, publishing articles, interviews, and the occasional short story here and there.

Then life took me elsewhere: since 2015, I’ve been living abroad — first in Malta, now in Portugal — where I work in SEO and Project Management. A job made of logic, numbers, and algorithms… perfect for balancing out the creative chaos I carry inside.

As a true Millennial, I can’t help but infuse my stories with a mix of pop nostalgia, flickering hopes, and a certain taste for existential drama. After all, I grew up with Jane Austen in my heart, Buffy on TV, and the (still lingering) dream of sitting at Central Perk, coffee in hand —like in Friends.

Creature della Notte is my debut novel: a story about identity and choices, where tradition and memory intertwine in a magical version of Bologna.
