As a writer, teacher, clinical social worker, and mentor, Lisa Baron believes strongly in the relationship between introspection and creativity. Lisa earned a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy from the Institute of Clinical Social Work, Chicago, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Lisa currently teaches creative writing for the Story Circle Network and is a Creative Collaborator for Unleash Creatives. Lisa’s poetry and essays have appeared in the Story Circle Network, Purplestone Press, The New Social Worker, Women in Higher Education, Family Time Magazine, Natural Awakenings, Unleash Lit, Tales-From-The-Pandemic, and the Blotter. Lisa is a member of the International Women’s Writing Guild.
