“Auesome” is a term used in the Autism community by some parents to describe our amazing babies. “Auesome” is a play on the word “awesome” in tandem with Autism. Children with Autism are sometimes seen for their differences. We, as parents of children with autism, aim to highlight the amazing attributes of our children and, hopefully, lessen the negative stereotypes that comes with an Autism diagnosis.

With a over a decade of experience as a parent and a mother of five , with two of her children being diagnosed with autism, as well as being a wife, an entrepreneur, and business owner, “Hooray, Hooray for an Auesome Day!”, offers a brief glimpse into the daily adventures of her Auesome son. As a passionate, devoted, advocate for her children, Mily believes in each of their potential and has been constantly humbled and amazed at the gift and the privilege bestowed upon her when she gave birth to her own superheroes, her autistic son and her bonus Auesome son. Our differences make us all “Auesome!”
