Laura Kate is a Northumbrian farmer’s wife and working mother of two boys.

With a passion for storytelling, Laura decided to create some tales for her own children based on a street of diverse and entertaining individuals (or animals!), all with their own story to tell and a moral to pass on from their experiences.

Henrietta Hedgehog’s Bog is the first story to be published in the collection and tells the story of Henrietta, a friendly hedgehog who wants to save all beasties and bugs so matter how big or small… or how smelly their home is!

There’s only one problem… the stinky bog that’s rotting at the bottom of Hawthorn Street is upsetting the neighbours and something needs to be done.
