Fernando Hernandez Perez

I was born in Caracas in 1969. My professional life began as a Naval Officer in the Venezuelan Navy (1990-2007). Here, my interest in ships and famous people related to the sea was born. My other facet, that of photographer, began in 2012 in Germany when my brother gave me a reflex camera with which I took my first steps in photography. In my books, I try to highlight anecdotes and curious facts about the people or places I write about because I think that little-known details bring us closer to them. What I hope from my books is that they can, in addition to entertaining the reader, give them the opportunity to connect through short stories with the places or people that appear in my texts.
