Jim Clements is experienced in direct care to foster and underserved youth, specializing in career readiness skills. Jim is the Executive Director of Made New Makerspace, a nonprofit organization that supports youth and adults to provide skills they need to find success.
Prior to launching Made New, Jim taught high school skilled trades classes, worked as a crisis counselor, and ran a group home for underserved teens.
Jim and his wife Chelsea have served as foster parents, caring for many young people in their home through the years, and eventually adopted two of those foster children. They also have a biological child as well as another adopted child.
Jim’s personal mission is to use his gifts and abilities to make the world a better place.
