A computer professional with over 35 years of experience, Paul was involved in software development of all types, on computers ranging from the largest IBM mainframes to home game consoles. Paul has authored commercial mainframe software products as well as consumer software games including the ColecoVision version of the games Gyruss, James Bond, Up N’ Down, and the Atari 2600 game Super Cobra. These games are available on the Internet.
Paul formed the software company named InfinaDyne in 1996 and began working full-time there in 2001. In 1997 the first CD data recovery product available was released and was followed in 2000 with the first product specifically addressing the needs of forensic examiners when examining CDs and DVDs.
Since 1994, Paul has focused on PC and embedded system software development, specifically related to CD and DVD technology. This has included CD recording, accessing CD-ROM data for PC and Playstation games, and in-vehicle navigation systems.
Paul is still actively developing software for InfinaDyne as well as teaching classes on CD and DVD examination. In 2006 the book “CD and DVD Forensics” was published by Syngress which contains information from these classes as well as serves as a guide to using the CD/DVD Inspector product. This book was updated with a second edition in 2015.
Additionally, Paul writes fiction books that have a software theme to them.
Since 2018 Paul has been involved with several consulting engineering projects using his expertise in both computer software and electronics. He is currently working with the company CovidCureIndustries on products related to the Covid virus pandemic.
