Vikki R. Franklin

I am a Southern California native. I am the mother of two adult sons and one grandson. I represent the marginal voice of African American women. I have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked in the field as a preschool teacher and manager for over thirty years. I am a member of SCBWI, The Highlights Foundation, and Manuscript Wishlist to name a few. In addition, I’m a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children which is an organization that provides the seal of quality for child development programs in the United States.
