Denyta Girard

Denyta Girard-Goss is the owner of Journey of Mind Counseling, LLC; a private practice agency. Here she provides clinical therapy to clients ranging from adolescence to young adulthood. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Informed. Denyta holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Masters in Clinical Psychology with a focus on children and adolescence from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Denyta's passion for children who struggle with emotional distress and wanting to support them on their journey led to the venture of becoming an author.

Denyta is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and a former International stepper representing the organization. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, experiencing new restaurants, dancing, shopping, watching movies, and exploring the globe.
