Catherine Vance

Catherine Vance was born in Oak Ridge Tennessee but now lives in Houston Texas. She is a trained interfaith chaplain completing her Master of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology in Denver. She is on the faculty of Writespace Houston and holds an MFA in creative writing from Washington University in St. Louis. She was a past recipient of the Dobie Paisano award from the Texas Institute of Letters. Her poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction has appeared in many literary journals and she is currently completing her second book, a memoir.
