Joshua A. McClure

Joshua A. McClure is a Pastor, a theologian, an educator, and one of today’s most gifted authors and writers who has authored a Christian “Learning Library” of (10) ten highly-acclaimed award-winning, books. along with numerous articles including a two-year Bible Based Church School Studies Curriculum, K-Adult, as the core of a comprehensive integrated learning system.

His books and articles span a wide spectrum of genres, from Almost Persuaded, Now to believe, basic tenets (truths) of the Christian faith, The Crimson Thread of The Bible, for Biblical Understanding, Made For Glory, “Finalist” in the 2017 International Book Awards, On Broken Pieces “Finalist” in 2018 in two categories, Health: Aging/50+ and Christian Inspirational, and “On Holy Ground”, “Winner” in the 2018 International Book Awards “Religion: Christianity” category.

Joshua received the Biblical Studies award from Barrington College, Barrington, RI, served as Senior Pastor of the Pleasant Street Baptist Church, in Westerly RI, for 27 years, and later earned a Certificate of Advanced Theological Studies from The Andover Newton Theological School, in Newton Centre, MA. In 2015 he was awarded the Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Christian Education degrees from The Evangelical Theological College of Africa, Ibadan, Nigeria. In 2010, he received the First Annual Heroes of Faith Life Achievement Award, by the Rhode Island State Council of Churches. In 2019 he was cited as one of the "Living Legends" of Westerly, RI. Joshua currently resides in Bradford RI.
