Poetry is a window into the soul. Poems in my books are a glimpse into the joy and sorrow, light and dark of life's experiences. In my life I have had peace and pain, death and rebirth, faith and trial, but through it all I have learned to be optimistic. Life is a garden experience, choose the good, discard the bad, and constantly move forward. My brother died when I was 10; that experience has caused deep reflection and spiritual ponderings all my life. I was a "country girl" with a horse and that allowed me time to ride in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains alone with God. Life is a rewarding experience take the best of every day and make it count for good.
