Shayla J. Tate

Shayla Tate is an author, attorney, wife, and mother to two beautiful girls. Her first children's book, The Lucky Bracelet, is a story that encourages and teaches us about the challenges faced daily by children living with ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, and other similar conditions. The Lucky Bracelet teaches us to show grace to the beautiful children around us who sometimes deal with challenges beyond their control. Shayla believes all children should have a safe place in this world and should be afforded the opportunity to live life to the fullest regardless of their background, race, ability, and socio-economic status. She believes all neurodiverse children should be seen and heard and their neurodiversity celebrated.
