Elke Höller

Elke Hoeller was born on August 22, 1978 in Graz (Austria) as a daughter of Albin and Frieda Hoeller. She grew up as a child of a middle-class working-class family without sisters and brothers. In her childhood she aspired to becoming a writer, screenwriter and film producer. After all, this was the main reason for her decision to leave school a few months before she graduated, even though her parents wanted her to become a lawyer.

After she had left the Catholic private school for girls, she decided to learn a profession and attended an Austrian private school. She passed the state examination with honors, completed a management training and started her career in public service at the request of her parents. In 2008 she founded her own advertising agency (EH Creative Agency), where she still works after her first screenplay and the publication of the paperback in German-speaking countries.

Her screenwriting career began in 2008: When she saw actor Gerard Butler on television, she suddenly had the story for her first screenplay in her mind. In 2009 she was invited to meet well-known producers in LA and got an insight into the film business. After some hard lessons, she decided not to sell the script, but to learn how to make a movie.

In addition to her first film project as a producer, she has founded two other companies in Austria and has been very successful ever since.

She is working on releasing her first movie on the screen and on seven other scripts.
