Aleks Kashaev

Aleks Kashaev is a writer and illustrator from Ontario, Canada. Ever since Aleks could walk, colored pencils and paper have been his best friend. His kid-friendly art style is inspired by early 90s cartoons and various video games of that era. One of his biggest inspirations for continuing to make art to this day is his little brother Dani, whom he would always draw and share art with.

Hailing from Uzbekistan, Aleks moved to Canada in his teen years, where he now lives and works as an I.T professional. In his free time, Aleks loves to draw, exercise and travel to different countries to experience their food and culture. His goal is to make impactful children's books that will positively shape the new generations and instill them with a love of art and writing.
