Ex-Con Mike

I go by the name Ex-Con Mike, but I have also written under the name "Hex the Helpful Ex-Con." I served over 13 years in prison for robbery, assault, and weapons. I also did 21 months before that for selling drugs. I have been out of prison since June 29, 2007, and I have never been arrested again.

I have lived and worked outside the United States from 2011 until 2022, and I have had Work Visa's in 2 different countries with a Permanent Residence Visa in a 3rd. Outside of work, I have been to Poland and Amsterdam on vacations.

Prison is still very much a part of who I am. My thoughts and how I see things are just different from the normals I encounter daily. But it is also far away from me. I have trouble putting myself back in prison to make videos for the YouTube channel, for example. And when I can put myself back inside, I swirl into a depression that is pretty hard to come out of. So I plan to re-brand; what I am starting with this book here. My YouTube channel is currently named "After Prison Advice," but by the time this book comes out, it will be "Felonious America." My channel will focus on making money, hustles in all forms, and how to settle into financial security.

We are expected to know a lot of information but do not, for whatever reason. Even normals struggle with credit and finances, so there is no shame for me not knowing this before. Now that I know, I am sharing it with you.
