David W. Smith

David Smith is a former suburban Chicago public school superintendent. He has an interdisciplinary social science and social policy PhD from Northwestern University and has taught at Trinity University and Roosevelt University in the Chicago area. David has participated in local church youth and men's groups and county jail ministries. He and his wife, Sue Ann, live in suburban Chicago near their adult children and granddaughters.

David is a conference speaker for men's ministry, business prayer breakfast, and other faith-based events. His presentations are faith-based and focus upon practical issues we must often deal with in our daily lives. Popular topics include: "Who's Got Your Back?," "These are the Good Old Days," "Linebacker Leadership," "Men Without Friends," and "Finishing Well in the Fourth Quarter."
