Ali Shasti is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, Georgia, and Washington with more than 40 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, land development, site design, permitting, construction, and project management. He has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors and has designed, reviewed, permitted, and managed a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. His professional experience includes engineering management, development-plan review, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and major public infrastructure projects.

As an author, Shasti combines his professional experience with his interests in education, creativity, and lifelong learning to write books that inform, engage, and inspire readers.
