Bradley James Weber

Bradley James Weber writes children’s books, horror stories, graphic novels, and technical documentation. He graduated from Illinois State University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in children’s literature.

Since then, Bradley has, among other things:

*Won awards for his writing, including the first GonzoFest Literary Award for Fiction and the Naked Girls Reading Literary Honors

*Launched Of Books & Booze—the podcast which examines the intersection of alcoholic refreshment and the written word (www.OfBooksAndBooze.com)

*Advised a Chicago-based Catholic publishing house on graphic novels and picture books

*Presented his “Shakespeare in Comics” programs at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2)

*Spoken to area schools and library associations about reading and creating comics and graphic novels

Bradley’s artistic works have been exhibited at The Next Wave Art Salon, the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts, at the Side Street Gallery’s inaugural Krampus show, the Calling All Robots pop-up art show, Fez Fest, and Totally Tiki. He continues to be an irregular collaborator with several local artists.

Bradley is currently at work on another comedy horror novel for middle-grade readers, a few picture books, and a pile of technical documentation.
