I have always loved telling stories and writing for as long as I can remember, from bedtime stories to my siblings as we were growing up to fantasy filled short stories as a hormonal teenager! I loved English at school and to my mixed emotions of pride and horror several of my short stories would be read aloud to the class!

My first novel, The Blade and the Dove, won a national competition in 2014 - a novel set in Regency England, romantic, historical but with a definite modern slant.. Since then I have written several short stories, all of which have a spooky, supernatural twist, and a further three Regency romances. Novel number five is currently underway! I live in a beautiful part of the North East of England with my partner and a cat called Mabel. I find inspiration when walking the lovely coastline of North Yorkshire where so many of my stories are set. I am accompanied on my walks by my partner or my son and our canine companion, the feisty terrier Willow!
