Elaine Brooks

Elaine Brooks is the author of character driven YA books set in unusual worlds. Her latest book Fangs Bangs and Hunger Pangs is a teen-werewolf comedy. Full of action, funny moments, a little romance and carnage it's an easy read for fans of the YA & Teen genre.

Elaine has been writing for as long as she can remember and has been daydreaming in short story worlds for even longer. She has a fascination with the possibilities of not too distant futures.

Elaine lives in a small town in Northern Ireland but was raised in Belfast. She has a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of Ulster which is evident in her exploration of alternate worlds with contemporary themes, and in the complexity but relatability of her characters.
