Andy Bargh

Andy Bargh is a Scottish football commentator and passionate supporter of the Scotland national teams. He has commentated on Scotland at Euro 2020, Scottish clubs in European football and across all domestic competitions.

Before becoming a freelance broadcaster, to work mainly with BBC Scotland on their sport coverage, he was a writer with newspaper publisher Reach & and was nominated twice for the organisation's Young Journalist of the Year. He has also featured in the renowned Scottish football quarterly magazine Nutmeg.

Andy hosts the popular Hampden Roar podcast, on which he welcomes former Scotland players to chat about their time with the national team as well as hosting debates and panel-based podcasts about squad selection and results during the international break.

Writing a book about the Scotland men's team returning to a major tournament was a lifelong ambition for him.
