Andi has always loved art. If you know her in real life, there's a good chance you've received one of her handmade paintings, drawings, ornaments, bookmarks, cakes, or whatever else she was inspired to create at the time.
When she was pregnant with her first child in 2014, she wrote a poem for her little muse-in-the-making. She turned that poem into a set of paintings for the baby's room. Though it was years before that room was ever actually slept in by said child, the poem continued to be a source of inspiration and connection. Her daughter loved the paintings, and often asked to hear the poem.
After Andi's second child was born in 2018, she had the idea to turn that poem into a children's book. Unfortunately, around that same time, she also became sick with an unexpected illness. So writing, illustrating, and publishing the book took her nearly 5 years. But she never gave up on her dream, and every time she felt up to working on the book, it lit up her soul.
In the midst of all that (and a global pandemic!), Andi's pregnancy and delivery with her third child became life-threatening for her and the baby. They both survived, but that experience was more than enough to push Andi to dream bigger than ever before. Craving time to heal and connect as a family, Andi and her husband, Matt decided to take a huge leap into their next great adventure: traveling the states in an RV with their three little loves.
