Bruce J. Miller

Bruce Miller (Professor Emeritus) was Head of Acting Programs at the University of Miami for more than 25 years. He is the author of six books on acting and several plays. His books include The Scene Study Book, Actor’s Alchemy, and The Actor as Storyteller, all available on Amazon. He is also the author of more than 100 articles on acting that appeared regularly in Dramatics Magazine and Teaching Theatre. He has been the recipient of the University of Miami’s Excellence in Teaching Award as well as the Educational Theatre Association’s Founders’ Award given for lifetime achievement in educational theatre. He has directed over 50 productions in his career, both professional and educational. He is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, and holds an MFA in Acting from Temple University. Dollarado is his first novel.
