Kevin Miiller, PE, MBA, is the founder of ICB Consulting and author of Finding Ways to Win: Mastering the Success Potential Formula. With nearly 30 years of management experience, Kevin’s expertise is widely diverse, from construction foreman to engineering management, regional and national sales manager, and GM. Taking his success in athletics (state athlete of the year, Division 1 All-American, & qualifying for the US Olympic trials) to the business word, he has brought about growth factors of 60%, 200%, 300% and 500%, in different industries and each in less than 5 years. As an international manager of the Bobcat Liaison Engineering Team, he wrote Bobcat’s initial acquisition and due diligence guidelines. Kevin was appointed by Governor Doug Burgum to serve on the Economic Development Foundation, where they establish updates on the state’s economic development strategic plan.

After working for small companies to large corporations, in the US and around the world, coaching athletes, assisting global ministries, serving on boards, and volunteering for entrepreneurial organization or a school board, Kevin realized that the keys to success were always the same. It always boils down to the skills and abilities of the leaders and managers to think strategically, operate systematically, build great teams, while attracting, retaining, motivating and developing their workforce. This led him to found ITCB Consulting where he could focus on helping others in those areas.

Kevin knows that people are the key to winning in every organization and only managers and leaders have the resources and authority to make those winning changes. As leadership experience grows the company begins to thrive. Kevin knows that an organization’s corporate culture is the biggest competitive advantage, and that culture stars with good leaders. Everything that is done should be in alignment with or creating that culture that helps your organization Find Ways To WIN.

Kevin’s drive to win in athletics drove him to understand the formula for winning in both competing and coaching. His engineering training and experience allows him to drill down and solve the root cause of problems. Time spent in management and sales taught him the keys to motivating others and gaining buy-in. This combination of athletics, engineering, sales, management and parenting gives Kevin a unique multifaceted perspective about the work world and people.

Kevin has learned through his career, that it doesn’t matter if your organization is blue collar service or higher ed, food or energy, huge or small, consulting or banking, manufacturing or distribution, domestic or international, for profit or volunteer, your people and customers are the experts in what you do and have a wealth of knowledge to take you to the next level of success. The majority of the time, getting to the next level of success is usually not about coming up with something new, as much as it is extracting the experience, wisdom and insight from everyone who is involved and that is why the Employee Engagement Engine was created.

Kevin’s consults with boards and leadership specializing in strategic planning, evaluations as well as training for management, leadership and sales. It’s a great day to win, let’s win together!

“I have never been more pleased with the thoroughness and speed with which ITCB Business Consulting has provided me and colleagues with a work product and I know of no other instance in my over 40 years of leadership in major universities where a consultant’s report had such a profound impact on the effectiveness of an organization moving forward. I served as a department chair for 16 years, worked in the provost’s office for 11 years, including 6 as executive vice president and provost at Ohio State University and 17 years as president of Oregon State University. Clearly, I have worked with many consultants.” – Edward “Ed” Ray NC-SARA Board Chair
