M. C. Lara is an English teacher, and mother of three amazing girls and two lovely grandchildren.

She loves writing magical and ghost stories. The Door of Colours is her first teen novel.

M.C. Lara has a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing.

She lives in Northern Ireland with her husband and Millie the Westie.
