Suzanne S. LaPierre

Suzanne S. LaPierre is a Virginiana Specialist Librarian and co-author of the book Desegregation in Northern Virginia Libraries (The History Press, 2023). She authors The Wired Library column for Public Libraries Magazine, is a contributing writer for the 2022 and 2023 editions of The Library and Book Trade Almanac (Information Today, Inc), and a frequent contributor to Computers in Libraries magazine. Her academic research is published in journals such as Public Library Quarterly. She holds a MLIS from University of South Carolina, a MA from The George Washington University, and a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Born in Washington, DC, she currently resides in Northern Virginia.
