H. Densing

H. Densing is an educator and author who creates educational books, workbooks, and children’s books for children with developmental delays, learning differences, and different ways of learning.

She studied Elementary and Secondary School Education at the University of Koblenz/Landau in Germany, with an emphasis in pedagogy, mathematics, and philosophy. Her experiences teaching children of different ages and abilities showed her early on that children can learn the same skill in very different ways.

That understanding became even more personal after the birth of her daughter, who was diagnosed with developmental delay, apraxia of speech, and autism. Years of supporting her daughter’s communication, motor, academic, and life skills eventually helped shape the Densing Method, an interest-oriented, hands-on approach that encourages children to take an active part in their own learning.

H. Densing is the author of the Densing Teaching Method book series and creates educational workbooks for reading, handwriting, math, and other areas of learning.

She also writes children’s books, including the Zolita, the Dreamy Witch With Hooves series, inspired by her daughter’s interests, ideas, and experiences.
